| NOTE: If you are having trouble seeing the menu, please download and run Update 1.02. Question: After installing the game, I try to run it and get an error message "JohnDeere.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." What's wrong? Answer: First, make sure your PC meets all of the minimum system requirements listed on the box, or check them out on the website HERE. If your system does not meet these requirement, the game will not run. The other main cause of this error is outdated device drivers; usually the video driver. You can check for Windows and most driver updates at http://www.windowsupdate.com. However, in virtually every case, updated video drivers must be downloaded directly from either the PC manufacturer or the video card manufacturer's website. For links to video card manufacturer's websites, look in the General Troubleshooting section on our main support page HERE. |

| Question: How do I plant a crop? Answer: You need to have a worker in a tractor connected to a seed drill or a planter. You then left click on a field you wish to plant and click the Plow and Plant button (Note: you will not get this option if you are using the planter and the field has not been plowed yet). You then will be able to choose type of crop to plant and quality of seed you wish to use. |
